We are delighted that TMH has won the Partnering for Good Category of the NZI Sustainable Business Network Awards on the 22nd of November.

The NZI Sustainable Business Network Awards are New Zealand’s longest-standing sustainability awards. Now in their 16th year, they recognise and celebrate success in sustainability.

The Partnering for Good award is presented to an organisation that has formed partnerships to generate positive impacts on people’s lives – on health, nutrition, housing, employment, community and more.

The judges said: “Take My Hands started out of a garage and has grown to involve all kinds of organisations to help them send medical equipment to people in need in the Pacific. They have many partners including NZ Post and District Health Boards. They are strong on measurement and know exactly how much they are sending, how much it costs and how much is saved. There is great depth of partnership to this model.”

Managing Trustee Janette Searle said “The SBN Awards are a big deal, especially for an organisation like TMH.  To get recognition of the work we’ve been doing collectively with our partners is brilliant for us and for them.   A great way to finish 2018 and an inspiration for 2019!
